We have just finished a bathroom with natural limestone tiles, the tiles them selves were lovely when finished but they came in 300mm x random length when ordered, but when they actually came the majority were 300mm x 600mm. When layed in a brick effect they of course made a uniform pattern, but the customer didn't order enough so we had to order more. When the new tiles came they were more random in length than the previous so we could not carry on with the pattern. Luckily we managed to hide any differences behind the vanity unit and toilet.The lesson learned here is that when ordering tiles always add 10% and if the tile is large then there is always more waste so we would recomend maybe 15% extra than the square area.
